***HELP***I recently changed my Impeller & Thermostat?s. I can run engine in a barrel and it does fine, as soon as I put the boat in the water, the alarm goes off! Thinking it may be oil issues? How can I diagnose engine to determine if it's water, cooling or oil pump issues? The oil reservoir on the power head has two lines, and the oil level is at the very bottom line of the tank. I don't think it's overheating because I ran the motor without the thermostat covers while in the barrel and the water pressure was good. How can I diagnose oil pump/float/sensor????????

If the oil is at the bottom line, then you are getting a low oil alarm. How much oil is in your boat tank?

The motor uses the oil in the tank, that is what causes it to drop:lol:

Apparently your transfer pump is not pumping oil from remote tank.
There are lots of threads dealing with troubleshooting this.
do a search and Read some that Rodbolt posted and others
