Suzuki stalls at slow take off speed

My 84 Suzuki DT 40 starts and runs fine at idle and throttles up fine but once I put it in gear and slowly take off, it will stall and die. It will start again but not as easily. After several attempts of taking off I can get it to go if I do it quickly. (take off fast). Once I get it to full speed it runs fine. No miss. runs good. I can bring it back down to slow speed and it runs fine slow too. Just cant take off from slow. Ive cleaned carb, got new gas. have good fuel flow. two new plugs. not sure what else to try. Thanks.
