I have a c50tlry, two weeks ago had a great strong tell tale stream, last weekend had a weak one, that faded to barely a trickle when idling.
I dropped the lower unit and the impeller is in great shape, only a month old to begin with. The housing and cup look fine too. I put it back together and still weak tell tale. I checked the thermostat and it is not pretty, but it does open and close. I kept it out and put the t-stat cover back on and started it to no avail. I checked the tell tale hose and it is all clear, just a trickle comes from the barb on the bottom of the exhaust cover where the tell tale water comes from.
I'm relatively mechanically inclined so I don't mind pulling parts to check, just need to know what to look at now!
SO...???
What next?

blow some compressed air up the tell tail while idling to see if that moves somethings around and get your flow back

Or try to put a small rod in the hole. Lots of time some debris is blocking the exit
