I like to ask a question last year I did decide to change the water pump on the lower unit,The engine is a 2003 I owned since new
but never ever did I change the impeller on it .I always noticed on start up the water from the split second the engine started the pee hole had watercomingg out it.
I did last year decide maybe after 10 years of use to change out the pump impeller and gaskets,I will say to my surprise the impeller was in excellent shape after removing the housing cover.
I did change everything and did a test to see if all was installed correct.I did notice now from some strange reason the water start to exit the pee hole after about 30 seconds compared to as soon as the engine started the water would exit
any idea why the delay on the water coming out of the small hole behind the cover?
I did run it with ears on ran great stream is stronger now at lower RPM
head temp gauge shows running cool but the delay at the hole seem to com to mind WHY.
