Problem with Yahama, motor has a buzzer goes off only when idleing for an extended period of time.
Had the water pump replaced and still got the buzzer going off. Any other suggestions?
My local boat repair/sales shop is the one that replaced the water pump to begin with, so I don't have much
faith in them anymore.:mad-new:

Not enough cooling at low RPM could be not enough volume put out by pump( bad housing), leak causing not all of water getting to motor(Stuck open PRV possibly or other leak) or low volume due to restriction/blockage of passages or stats not opening all the way.

Is this an old motor run in salt water?

No, it's not an old motor and has never been run in salt water.
