Hello everyone, Ive always enjoyed the iboats forum. Unfortunately i need help this time. I have a 98 Yamaha 90hp c90tlrv. Had to turn up the idle just to get it to run. Appears to run on only 2 cyl. Cleaned carbs, and checked fuel. I am convinced it is an electrical problem. Ohmed the pulse coil and it checks good. I dont have the ability to check the peak voltage. Ohmed the charge coil and the numbers in my Clymer dont match. My readings were 81 ohms brown wire to red wire and Clymer says should be 191-288. Blue to red wire is 235 and Clymer says should be 64-96 ohms. Does anyone have the correct resistance values? Also the spark looks weak and when i unplug the primary winding of each coil the number 3 cyl does not appear affect the rpm. Weird. Please help me out if you can.
