The factory manual for my 1995 C85 Yamaha sometimes leaves something to be desired, from the standpoint that it's written for factory-trained techs- which I am not.

When I owned my 1995 Johnson 175 I kept both the factory manual and a Seloc on hand. Sometimes when I couldn't quite figure out what OMC was telling me to do, or how to do it, referencing the Seloc (which is written for DIYers) would clarify it for me.

Of the sucky, one size fits all manuals, who does it better- Seloc or Clymer?

I have a Clymer, but it can be hard to follow since it covers several different horsepower models of the Yamahas....I'm a DIY/shadetree mechanic, and don't take much to confuse me! I've always thought I might get me a 90C Specific Yamaha Manual, but guess the Clymer is O.K. for now$$$;)
