I have a F25 the I recently got running. It starts and idles fine. When I try to increase the throttle the motor will sputter and die. It does not help if I raise the throttle slowly. Sometimes this does not happen and it will reach a high RPM no problem. All testing has been in Neutral in the yard. I have cleaned the carb, just not sure what to look for or what to test now. I appreciate any help. Thanks, Tim

Hi, When you cleaned the carb did you clean the gelled gas out of the needle valves and the air-fuel valve?or maybe the float valve bent or sticking? that sounds like what is going on when you open throttle to add air, there is not enough fuel to burn with the air mixing!!!!

Unless you take the carb off and really clean it, like with a over night soak in carb dip and/or put a kit in it you may never get it right. I went through this about a year ago and although I was intimidated by tearing down the carb it turned out to not be too bad of a job and I got it running right.
