Hey guys- I'm new to posting but I have been reading this site for years. I recently got my hands on a used outboard from a family friend. It came off of an aluminum boat that got hit by a tree and it had been sitting for years. I am trying to get it on the water and need to find out the year and model number so that I can buy the right anode and water pump kit. The problem is the mounting bracket was changed due to a bad PT&T setup and thus the id tag is useless. It is a 60 HP 2 stroke Yamaha, no oil injection, 3 carbs, 3 cylinder. I can't find a serial number but the major motor components have stamps that read 6H 30 4 Y-1. I'll post pics. Any help with the model and year would be much appreciated. Can't wait to get out but can't get out like this.
