I recently purchased a 90tlra off a friend. Before I put it in the water I noticed that some oil was leaking out by the prop. A buddy told me to replace both oil seals on the prop shaft. They were easy enough to get at and pick out and there was debris behind them (weeds and such). When the seals came out they were both on the shaft facing the same way (the indented sides were both facing out towards me as I pulled them out. I have some new ones here but just want to confirm that this is the correct way they need to be placed back in. My buddy thinks its worth asking about. So again both the indented sides of each seal were facing the same way with the indent pointed towards me as I pulled each of them out. If someone can help it would be much appreciated. :)

Yep, the exploded view of the lower unit shows both seals facing out...
