help with a yamaha 115 hp..i think its a 94 running hot on one side

the motor has a new impeller and housing.....and is peeing great..but one side is cool and the otherside is hot any idea's about whats wrong

Have you pulled and tested thermostats to see that they are operating in spec?

Saltwater or fresh? While you have the t'stats pulled you could run the engine with one out at a time and see flow out of tstat hole...if head is blocked this'll show it.

it is used in fresh water.......some water comes out with thermastats out

Start by hitting the block with a heat gun and locate the hot spots.I would pull the heads and clean the water passages and the water jacket. Also check t-stats and popit valve.
