I came in with the boat and realized the port engine oil tank completely empty. starboard was fine. checked the oil system and the transfer pump on the remote tank doesn't run or fill the engine tank. tried the emergency switch and it does not make the pump run either. I only had the far left arrow solid on the gauge. After checking continuity and voltage throughout the system I finally started getting all arrows blinking with alarm on. The level switch on remote tank is fine. The transfer pump runs only when jumped directly from battery but pumps oil the opposite direction. Engine tank level switch is fine. My first idea was the transfer pump is bad but it works when jumped. Any help from knowledgeable techs will be greatly appreciated. I have Service manual and have read most forum topics. thanks
