2004 Yamaha 50 HP Trottle Issue

I recently got my boat re-carpeted and the shop that did it took the throttle handle off to carpet the panel of the throttle hanle. Now, the boat won't go nearly as fast as it used to. I'm wondering if the throttle adjustment got messed up when they removed the throttle handle and what adjustments I need to make to get the power back. Help please!

probably not related to the work at all. but you canlook to see if throttle plates are opening all the way to make sure
