Yamaha 6Y8-83500-11-BK Digital Multi-Function Boat Speedometer/Fuel Gauge Not workin

Our speedometer is not working correctly. It goes back and forth between 24 - 26 MPH even when the boat is not moving. Any thoughts on how to repair or what could be wrong?

maybe the tube is plugged
disconnect from back of gauge to see if it will go to 0, if it does the look for where it is blocked.
Probably at the lower unit pick up

I had the same issue. I had backed off of a beach. I pulled the tube and blew some air thuough and now it works fine.
