Hey All,
thanks for the help in advance.

Recently purchased an 1872 Sea Ark with a 2004 Suzuki DF70. Test drove the boat before purchase, everything ran fine. Got the boat on the water for the first time, and its throwing an alarm. Guy who bought it from said it will do this from time to time, it just has loose battery terminals.
Changed the battery out, still threw the alarm. Reset the computer, never threw another alarm.
Had it out for the 2nd time on Tuesday night, threw the oil temp light and alarm. Shut er down, reset the computer, and it never threw it again the rest of the night.
Now, at the beginning of the night, it was shooting water out just fine. By the end of the night, there was no water being shot out, it was just a trickle.
Has the water pump gone bad?
Is there something else going on with the computer system?

Thanks for all the help and feedback guys

Never heard of oil temperature light and alarm, but I do not play with Suzuki's.

How are you resetting computer?

Might try running some heavy mono or weed whacker line up the tell tail while running on muffs to see if that will clear any blockage . Or use compressed air to blow into it..
But you could have a problem with water pump

Looks like the water pump seems to be where to start trouble shooting. I will try to unclog it tomorrow. Any other tips/suggestions?

Run it without the thermostat in. On the starboard side is a one inch hose that comes from the bottom to the top, pull the flywheel cover off and you will find two 10 mm bolts remove the themo and run it. You won't hurt anything but it will run a little ruff. You could have two things happening hear, the oil change reset / and a over heat at a certain RPM.

Oil change reset/ remove tether clip turn key to on, pull red stop switch out three times, you will hear a beep.

And removing the themo that will let you know whether it's the thermo or impeller.
