Yamaha vmax 150 flooding spiting gas out exaust

Hi
Im writing this for a friend of mine. I do not know the year as of now. Yamaha 150 vmax vro fuel injected. The problem is the motor is gas flooding and spitting gas out the exaust. The motor will sometimes start and run rough but is spitting gas out eaxust. I have cleaned float area and run bottle of sea foam through motor when i had it running. Your help and comments are most welcome. canaster and pump filters are clean

Are all clynders firing?

yes all cylinders are fireing. I forgot it is a 2 cycle. I removed the float and cleaned the needle valve took the motor to the boat ramp run for 30 or so min, the motor ran perfect smooth full power or at idle. went to use the boat the next morning and same old thing spitting gas and very hard to start and flooding. this is crazy
