Starting Problem w/ '06 Yamaha F90 - Need Troubleshooting Help

I purchased a '06 pontoon boat with a Yahama F90. Previous owner said it was serviced within the year but the motor is not starting. I have done the basic trouble shooting -- confirmed fuel pump is pumping, confirmed spark. If I spray starting fluid into the intake tube then the motor fires and runs off the prime. I can't get the more to start on it's own.

I thought perhaps a carb issue (or injector). Any other troubleshooting tips before digging into the carbs?

Got fuel, got air, got spark.

What is the exact model, carb or fuel injection? Sounds like fuel starvation.

how did you confirm fuel pump pumping?
and which fuel pump?
If this is a fuel injected motor did you measure fuel rail pressure?
Seems you do not even know if this motor has carbs or if it is fuel injected with what you posted
