Hey guys...I have a yamaha outboard I'm not sure what year it is because I can't seem to look up the Model number 70ETLW but I'm sure it's made in the 90s. Its a 2 stroke 70 HP Precision Blend oil injected. Well it's been running fine for a month and now when i tilt the motor all the way down it bogs down and dies. I can start the motor right up again but every time i trim it down its stops. I can run it with the motor half way up but the boat won't plane out. I figure once I get it going i can trim down and it'll be fine but still it bog down and dies. I changed the plugs and tested in my driveway still the same thing happened. Any ideas and suggestions?
