I have an 89 yamaha 150 and i have an excessive amount of oil comming from air intake. I also noticed my sub-oil tank was overfilled. So i put 2 and 2 together and figured out the oil was draining into the intake from a hose connected to the oil tank. The question is why the extra oil in tank. I noticed an emergency oil switch which pump reserved oil into tank, but the switch itself was broke. i don't know if that is the cause or if a sensor in oil tank may have gone bad. if anyone has any ideas it would help me a lot thank you.

Welcome: sounds like it might be the sensor or the emergency switch is stuck on the fill position. I would replace the switch, and see.
