suzuki 9.9 idle

86-suzuki 9.9 starts 1st pull but won/t idle or run for any time. we just added waterpump and thermostat.Any help will be welcome thanks

check compression, spark, timing, and fuel pump.
If all good the you need to look at cleaning carb
