25 hp Yamaha 2 stroke stops(back fire) at idle!

Hi,

My Yamaha 25HP 2 stroke 2011 stops at idle, It likes it backfire. Any idea on what could be the problem?

The motor is new approx 4 hours. Because I bought it a bit far from my house, I'd like to try some adjustements. But not sure on which adjustements to do.

There's surely someone here who knows what to do with that!

4 hours does not mean anything if you have bad fuel it will cause plugging in carbs.

You should not have to adjust a new motor to make up for plugged up passages or water /trash in fuel

Lean sneeze means plugged up passages. pull carbs and see what you find.
Of course it might void warranty, but warranty will not cover bad fuel

Thank you Captain, but when I speed up the motor it runs very well, (like a brand new!) it's just at idle or when I shift foward that bug comes.

There are main jets and pilot(idle) jets and passages that can plug

Yes carbs are easy to clean,
I am not sure how good your mechanical skills are but would be best if you picked up a service manual if you plan on working on it yourself.
