I posted this a couple of weeks ago and got no reply. I still need to make sure what year it is and get a water pump impeller or kit. If you got a clue please help me out here.
On the starboard side of the clamp is a tag that is partially legible because it has a spot of paint on it... either 50FTLN or 50ETLN. On the port side of the clamp are the following numbers....
50 DETO
6H5 L 411244.
Not at all sure but this is probably about a 1984 model.
I hate to have to ask but these do not make sense on any chart that I've been able to find. There is nothing in the lower right corner of either identification tag.
The motor is 50 hp, oil injection (disconnected), electric start, tilt/trim, remote controls/steering.
The only problem I'm having with it is that when trolling the overheat buzzer goes off... want to put a new impeller on it and check out the cooling system.
