I had a yammy 115 4 stroke.. great on gas is a stretch. there are some outboard test stats available, I have seen some links around the forums to various motors, most manufacturers have stats on test with their motors available which include fuel MPG at various RPMs. you will see that 4 strokes do not do much better at high RPMs, they mostly show off in the mid to low RPM ranges. so it depends on how you use the boat. I am not a suzuki fan..you should look at a price list of the parts for any motor you consider. I have seen some prices for suzuki parts at double some of the equal yammy parts.
