2001 Yamaha VMax ox66 skipping at lower rmps

Im worried that my 2001 motor is going to let me down here right as the spring bite is to begin. It cranks fine, however at lower rpm's its as if somebody is taking their foot off the hotfoot. It runs great at high rpms, and I has new plugs, had it decarbed but this problem recently started. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated before I take it to a dealer.

Motor model # would help others know what motor you have, and also give info like what maintenance has been performed, how long ago, and how old is the fuel and was it stabilized.
