Got a spun rod bearing on #3, crank is scored lightly, rod big end is scored, obviously bearing is trash.

Now, what about oversize bearings for this big end? I don't see them in the Suz parts list.
Dont tell me the crank has to be replaced!!!

Anyone have an aftermarket supplier for oversize big end rod bearings?

Thanks.

Johnson 4 stroke manual, does not show undersize bearing, says replace crankshaft. The crankshaft is fitted with select fit bearings. Choice of 5 sizes I think. Parts dept with will ship dealer a complete set of bearings, return what you don`t use. This was in 2006, may have changed.

Thanks Clanton....

How about this? Can these 4 stroke cranks be repaired....welded up and reground? I know (or think) the two stroke cranks cannot be repaired due to the hardness of the crank steel, but how about these 4 stroke cranks? Any opinions?

Oh and by the way, this is a rod bearing, not the main journal. Only one. Rest of crank looks great, I have not measured it yet.
