Yamaha 89 Pro 50 what are Alarm or sensor functions

New owner what alarm goes off and for what reason
What is Limp mode.

Need to know before in water and in trouble.

Two alarms, one for overheat, one for low reservoir oil level. Any alarm will trigger limp in mode, limiting rpm. Low oil level will trigger an amber light first, the alarm will be triggered with a red light.

Thank for you info. I had a loose gas line and the engine was starving for fuel which this set off an alarm plus limp mode.

fuel problems do not set off an alarm for those old motors as far as I know, so you probably have other issues
