I have 90 hp yamaha that at start up this season was leaking gas at the top of the prime starter assy.(enricher) I thought at first the o-ring was bad. I tried to find an exact replacement but the only information Yamaha provided was a whole new unit. (67F-14380-01-00
PRIME STARTER ASSY $332) I found the closet match availabe but that did not work. It is hard to tell exactly where it is leaking. I am now starting to believe the housing of the assembly might be cracked. Has anyone had experience with this problem? Does anyone know thes specs of the o-ring on the assembly? Is there another reason for this area to leak gas that I am overlooking?
