Is this a cable problem, or stripped helm? I am mechanically inclined, but new to marine mechanics. Shouldn't be too tough either way, but I want to start with the likeliest of the 2 repairs. Steering moves smooth to the right and back to center, then the steering wheel spins freely to the left with no motor response. Any prior experience is appreciated.
