If the motor has been well-maintained and runs good, then it's really great for shallow water, shoals, sand bars, oyster bars, stumps, etc. But remember with a jet drive you're only getting about 85% of the horsepower at the pump jet, or about 75 horsepower for that 90, so you're giving up the efficiency of a prop. If you don't really need the shallow water capabilities, then you'd be better off with a prop motor. Good Luck!
