Have removed jet foot and noticed impeller casing and water tube were not mating well due to rubber bushing degradation. Have loosened bolts from studs and didn't want to force(pull) off the water cooling tube from up in the lower unit witout knowing if replacing upper bushing on tube is that simple. Some sort of nut shown above bushing in the schematics.

Pull and twist out water tube, slip on new bushing, and reseat it??? The align for impeller pump casing during installation with new bushing on lower end of tube??

Or come from top of lower unit and remove nut to remove the water tube?

Seems it should be the simpler way!!!

Watching my boat do nothing on the water from overheating problem, is not the way to spend the summer months!!!
