i have an older suzuki dt5. it also has numbers 0501 D-10267 and i am trying to find out the year. i ordered a new pinion for the rope pull last year from my local dealer and they sold me one that wasnt the same and it doesnt work as good so i dont really trust the year they told me. when i looked on line it seemed like it could be a 79 or 81 but not really sure. i need to get a new impeller i was told for the water cooling, and change the shaft oil. do you just need an impeller or is there a kit of a few parts you change with it? also what type of oil does the shaft take? anyone know of a good website to get these parts for this older motor.
