115 V4 Yamaha oil injection problem. Also no full power and motor dies out.

Hello. There is a problem in the oil area. If I leave motor on tilt over night with oil tank on side of motor, oil will run through oil lines into engine.
Also when motor is running, I can't get full power or even half power. Every time I use the throttle, it will splutter and die out but if I idle throttle or just over idle, it will run good at that speed only. Please help.

sounds like your oil pump may be bad.I would find out whats wrong before running it any more.

Possibly bad check valves may let oil leak by, If your motor has them.

Sounds like you need to check fuel pressures to see if there is a problem with fuel delivery.

Is this thing carbed or injected

Thank you 99yam40 for your advice. I will look at the check valves and fuel pressures. Oh, and it is carbed. Thanks again.
