Hello,
I have a 1990 Suzuki DT85. I removed the metal plate from the top of the oil pump that has the bleed screw in it and is held by four philips head screws. There is a pipe inside that has a notch at the top and 3 holes on one side and 4 holes on the other. I did not make a note which way it was facing when I removed it. It seems that it can only go in 2 ways with the notch being about 45 degrees off center from the hole in the front of the oil pump. Does anyone have a diagram or could someone please tell me the correct way that this pipe is supposed to be inserted back into the oil pump. I cannot find a diagram of a dissasembled oil pump anywhere. Thank you very much in advance for your help.
