Here is my situation with my Yamaha Vmax 200 EFI 1997-99. ,
First time off the dock and it seems to run fine.
First start up for the day you can start the engine fine, no smoke. Then while it is in neutral you can rev the engine and everything works fine.
Then when you put it in gear you have to feather the throttle until you get to 1300 rpms to get it to go. If you get to aggressive with the throttle the engine floods and and smells of fuel. The interesting part is that the warmer the engine gets the worse it floods. First time off the dock and it seems to run fine. If you run it for a while and turn the engine off this is when it gets real bad. We have no idea what the issue could be. Any help or advice you can give is greatly appreciated.
