I've backed it down in the water and it started and ran great put, it in gear it ran like it should but when you get over 1/4 throttle it boggs down and dies what can i do ive tryed everything

these motors have a "limp home" mode, what this is ,is the motors way of protecting itself, when it detects low water flow or head temp extremes it shuts down the motor to 3000 rpm, you should be getting warning buzzers at the helm key switch,count the seconds between beeps,call a Suzuki dealer and ask what that series of beeps mean..diagnosed. good luck.
