Hey all,
Ok im a basic mechanic with common sense. I recently bought a 1986 two stroke 25 horsepower yamaha outboard, it was running great for at least two months. I'm running a 50:1 oil gas mixture? Recently i was running full throttle and it just died. Motor is clean inside and has been taken care of. I started with fuel tank and line, same outcome. Then found some wires on the left side of the motor which were all connected and looked pretty good but when i shook them the motor would start again and run but bogg out. So then i replaced the spark plugs. So could it be dirty carb? Can those wires on the side make a motor bogg out? Any ideas or information will be great! Thank You very much!
