I have followed the precision blend article to trouble shoot oil tank transfer issues. I have a 1985 V6 150 ELTK. I had trouble with the pump never shutting off no matter what.
I ordered a new control mod but this one came with an additional wire that needs to go to the pulser coil. The third from the top screw on the CDI and install some new spark plug caps.
I didnt install anything except the control mod. My continuous pump problems are gone but now the only way i can get oil to trainsfer is with that emergancy switch.
I would assume i need to install the wire and spark plug caps. Does this sound correct? Did anyone else get a new oil control mod? Please let me know
