1989 suzuki, wont run, dies like runnning out of gas if throttle cracked open from idle, hard to start even with primer pumped up hard, have to pull choke to start, never starts on no choke, pulled carb, clean inside, float feels light, no fluid inside, level per spec's, jets clean. used to run like a top but started acting up last year. :( So, now several days later I have now decided to get down to business and get this thing running, last night I found a small clear plastic "Y" just inside. I can see that the inside channel was restricted to the point that .020'' wire would not pass through. This fitting supplies the carb with fuel and also injects the oil from the metering pump. Lesson learned, don't run E-10 gas and run the carb dry at the dock at the end of the day. If I cant get a new fitting before this weekend, can I loop the oil injection lines together and mix oil in the fuel tank and go?
