Is it an easy task to replace athe impeller on a Yamaha 150 4 stroke

Not a hard job with the right manual, about the same as any outboard. Don't forget the lower unit bolt hidden under the trim tab.

Order the whole kit with impeller and cup.

And do yourself a favor and order a new woodroffe key. Sometimes they seize in the driveshaft.

I did mine a few months ago and it wasn't near the nightmare I heard it could be. Just take your time and you can do it in a couple of hours. Check: simyamaha-Andy's tips for instructions with photos on this and several other repair/maintenance procedures. It's very helpful, and good luck!
