Yamaha Power Head Gasket

I have pulled the power head on my 1998, 90 HP to be able to locate the 3 pieces of missing impeller blades from a recent water pump rebuild. (yes, I found them) The upper casing gasket, as it's called, seemed to have some sort of sealant. The gasket and sealant seemed to come off fairly easily with a scraper. I haven't purchased the replacement gasket yet. Does anyone know if the sealant is already installed on the gasket from the factory, and if not, what kind of sealant is used on this gasket?

UPDATE: Purchased new gasket yesterday and yes the new gasket aready has sealant built in to it. I finished putting the motor back together this morning, ran it with the flush kit and all is well.
