what is needed to service this outboard? it will not be used till next summer

i purchased the impeller what else is needed ?

How bout new spark plugs, and change out the gear lube oil and you should be good to go

You need to stabilize the fuel or drain it all out of the system if is to set up for long periods on time

No the above will not do it, you will have trouble. With todays fuel you must run stablizer through it and I would drain the carb float bowl (usually a small screw on the bottom of the float bowl). Pull the plugs and put 6 drops of oil in and pullit over by hand 2-3 times. Change the gear oil. - Bob
