Hi Fellow boaties,
I have just brought a Suzuki outboard on Ebay. Its a 9.9hp oil injected, 1987?, the person i brought it off had inherited it and had not used it. Looked like it had been sitting for awhile so i changed all fluids and pulled the carby apart and cleaned that.
It runs ok i suppose for its age, but smokes allot when you rev it. I decided the oil pump was putting in to much oil, so i rerouted the oil line to go back into the oil tank and put in a straight through fuel connector and decided to run premix.

I mixed up 40:1 and that is what it is running on. Any help would be great, have cleaned the carby twice and cleaned all hoses and sanded the spark plugs.
