Looking at buying a dealer maintained all service records 200HP Suzuki 2-stroke, Fuel Injected 224 hrs according to dash gauge and dealer.

Includes all cables/controls and gauges, compression 125-128 all 6 cylinders.

Dealer is asking $3800, but I know I can do a bit better.

Do these motors have any know weak links or issues. Is the Fuel injection a problem area? Are they considered very reliable and tough to kill?

Anything you have to offer would be great.

I've serviced smaller Suzuki's and have been impressed.

Thanks!

good engines, reliable oil injection since the main oil tank is on the engine and only needs gravity to feed the oil injection pump. also has an oil flow sensor. they also have replaceable cylinder jugs so if you did damage a cylinder, you do not have to throw the engine. i had one of that vintage and it was quiter than the merc that it replaced.

good luck - seem like a great motor with low hours.
