This engine used to run great. Engine still starts easily, but will not run above idle, unless you remove the engine cowling (cover) - strange !. I cleaned out the carb and it didn't make any difference. Are there any breather lines or places within the air intake system that can clog ? Would the condition of the carb top plate rubber gasket affect this condition ?
