I have a 1995 90hp Yamaha 2 stroke with digital Multi tach that is unreadable. I have an older style analog tach with lights. I would like to mate this up to the 90 hp. I have reviewed the past posts and looked over the manuals and electrical diagrams but can't figure how to hook up the oil lights. I understand the basics of green/tach; yellow/ keyed hot; black/ground; pink/temp however, my harness only has a green and green with red stripe fo the oil, but I need green, yellow, and red. I do have the other harness for tilt(4 wires) and the separate green, black, and yellow. Am I missing the control unit? Is the multi-tach the control unit and if so, can I pick up a separate control unit?
Thanks

Re: Yamaha tach conversion

All the wires are there and currently working fine, just can't see it. The dark green, black, and yellow plus 2 harnesses are there. Need help hooking up the harnesses to the old anaolog tach.
