Hi,

I have a Yamaha F100 TLRA -I looked at the parts scheme and see 2 oil seals 93101-25M03-00 sitting on top of the bearing housing. On my motor, I can only see 1 seal after removing the prop. And this one seal seems to be glued to bearing housing. How do I replace this seal or both seals?

Can someone confirm the seal sits on top of the bearing housing?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Yamaha F100 Prop shaft oil seal

there are 2 seals on the propshaft, propshaft bearing carrier removal is required to replace them.
is this a saltwater use motor?

Re: Yamaha F100 Prop shaft oil seal

Mostly freshwater- i was able to get the claw washer off.

Is removing the bearing housing for this motor a shop deal- I don't see how it would come off. Would a puller work- anything to disconnect?

I see that one oil seal is sitting in the bearing housing, maybe the other one is underneath it.

Thanks for your help.
