1987 Suzuki DT115

Cannot get to start unless I pull a plug or two and prime the engine with some gas or ether.

Rebuilt carbs, no help.
Starter cranks well.
Choke is working and adjusted.
Yes I know how to advance the throttle in neutral, no help.
Primer ball gets firm when pumped. I pump til firm before starting. Have tried without pumping and pumping 1-2 times without getting it fully firm, no help.

Once started, will start fine for remainder of day, and even next day, but after that, need to prime again. Starts immediately after primed. Runs great other than the starting issue.

It's not getting gas into the chambers until it fires when primed, then fine.
Any ideas?? Thanks!!!

Check and rebuild the fuel pump. The kit is cheap.

I agree with Bow, if you are pumping the ball and have no leaks then I'd look at the fuel pump.
