I have a 1998 Yamaha 150 HP V6 (C150TXRW) (carbureted with fuel & oil mixed @ 50 to 1) that is having a studdering / surging issue at higher RPM. I just replaced 1 of the 2 fuel pumps and I am planning on changing the other one. I also am having problems with the Tachometer not reading correctly, it will bounce and shows higher then what the engine is actually running( don?t know if this could have been caused when I cleaned the engine after the fuel leak). Any Help would be appreciated.
