250 Yamaha Engine Cowling disassembly

My cowling has gotten nasty over the years and I would like to take it apart to have it painted and the labels under the covers on the front and back have gotten moisture in between the clear lexan and the Yamaha labels. The only screws inside I can find hold the vents in place but I cannot figure out how the lexan pieces attach to the cover? I am guessing they snap in somehow but I don't want to break them finding out, Any ideas. Thanks.
