just recently bought a 1997 c-150 yamaha outboard so it is a premix,I would like to know if the racor 10 micron water seperator is good for the motor,i have been told that these 10 micron filters were originally made for fuel injected engines that needed cleaner fuel going into the injectors,My motor is carburated and i premix. i am worried the filter will not let some of the 2 cycle oil go through and run my engine lean, any advice would be helpful thanks

The Racor 10 Micron Fuel/Water separator will not filter out any oil. I have run a premix motor with a Fuel/Water separator for years and this is not an issue, at all.
